2018年結成、森川誠一郎(血と雫、Z.O.A)、黒木真司(Z.O.A)、
Takeshi(Boris)、Atsuo(Boris)に依る新しい運動体。
これは一時的なコラボレーションやユニットではない、恒久的なコレクティヴである。
それぞれのパートを固定せず、ダブルギター、ダブルベース、トリプルヴォーカルと自在に行き来することで、
一般概念的な「バンド」に拘束されない試みが始まろうとしている。
A new collective formed in 2018 by Seiichirou Morikawa (Chi to Shizuku, Z.O.A), Shinji Kuroki (Z.O.A), Takeshi (Boris), and Atsuo (Boris).
This is not a temporary collaboration or unit, but rather a permanent collective.
Without cementing each member’s respective role in this collective, instead they operate not being bound by the restraints of the general concept of a “band”, freely moving from double guitar to double bass or triple vocals, and so forth.
A/N【eɪ-ɛn】或る時・花
去年あたりからBorisのAtsuo氏とYBO2のトリビュートアルバム「鬼 O.N.I」のレコーディングを頻繁にしていた頃。その流れから部分パートに黒木真司（Z.O.A）を呼び込んでの録音作業中のこと。そもそも黒木がスタジオでギターを弾く姿を観たのは数年振りのことで、近くに居るようで遠く、遠くに居るようで近いという不思議な関係でもあり、こうしてまた人前で弾く姿を観るのは嬉しい限り。
そして、ブランクを全く感じさせないギタープレイ。
それが必然なのか偶発なのかはともかく、そこで何か新規にユニットが発生しても面白いのではないか？と、いう発案が、A/Nが生まれるきっかけにあったと思う。まだ、その頃はそれが何である、こうである等の具体的なプランは無かったと記憶するものの、ただでさえ多忙なAtsuo氏とTakeshi氏のスケジュールの間に、A/Nの生態プランが次々と投げられて来る。それによって漠然としていたものが段々とクリアになる様子が
とても面白く、魅力的に感じた。
偶然の深さと光。未来のことは誰にもわからないけれど、始まりは知覚によって動き出している。

A/N (eɪ-ɛn) – Arashuianda Nonno
Last year I was working incessantly on the YBO2 tribute album “Oni (O.N.I)” with Atsuo from Boris. That led to inviting Shinji Kuroki (Z.O.A) to work on the recording. For starters, it had been several years since I saw him playing guitar in the studio like that—at times it felt like he was so close yet so far, far away and again at the same time really close—it was a really strange feeling. I was absolutely thrilled seeing him play like that again.
He plays the guitar in a way that you can’t feel any blank space.
I wasn’t sure if it was inevitable or accidental, but, I thought, wouldn’t it be interesting if we started a new unit out of this? And with that, at that very idea, I think A/N was born. I recall at the time there was no distinct plan A/N would be this or that, and the plans started coming along one after another in the middle of Atsuo and Takeshi’s already-very-busy schedules. As a result, things that were vague gradually became clear, which made for an interesting situation, and I found it fascinating.
Depth of chance and illumination: Nobody knows what will happen in the future, but in the beginning we can be aware of how we get moving.

日本のロックバンドグループ。ボーカリストに森川誠一郎、ギタリストの山際英樹、ドラマーの高橋幾郎からなる3人編成。日本語詩によるシンプルなフレーズの歌謡を軸に織り成された演奏と、静的な躍動感を携えた表現は、森川誠一郎、山際英樹、高橋幾郎という三者による、熟練された各個性がひとつのグループとなり注がれているに他ならない。2012年結成。メンバー各自の活動歴は古く、森川は84年頃よりZ.O.A。山際は割礼。高橋はアケボノイズや不失者に至る数多くのバンドで活躍。
[Chi to Shizuku je prie pour que la goutte ne tombe pas]
A 3-piece rock band consisting of vocalist Seiichirou Morikawa, guitarist Hideki Yamagiwa, and drummer Ikuro Takahashi. The adept individuality of the 3 members concentrates into one group that could be nothing else: songs of simple phrases of Japanese poetry are the focal point, interweaving with the music, which has a feeling that expresses a stifled dynamic force. Formed in 2012, each member has a long active history: Morikawa with Z.O.A from 1984, Yamagiwa with Katsurei, and Takahashi with a great many bands including the likes of Akebonoizu and Fushitsusha.
Z.O.A
1984年に森川誠一郎を中心に結成された。パンク、ノイズ、インダストリアルなどの要素を合わせ持つ独特なサウンドスタイルでシーンを席巻する。1987年に黒木真司が加入し、その後幾多のメンバーチェンジ、休止を繰り返しながら2000年に活動停止したが、そのプログレッシブでアバンギャルドな音楽性と森川のステージングは半ば伝説の如く今もなお語り継がれている。
Formed in 1984 centering around Seiichirou Morikawa, Z.O.A had a very unique sound, combining elements of punk, noise, and industrial music, which swept over the scene of the time. In 1987 Shinji Kuroki joined, and after that there were numerous member changes and repeated hiatuses until Z.O.A came to its ultimate close in 2000. However, their progressive and avant-garde musicianship as well as Morikawa’s stage presence in part has become the stuff of legend, still being recounted even today.
Boris
1992年結成、96年にTakeshi、Wata、Atsuoという現在のメンバー編成へ。
活動当初より、孤高ともいうべきスタンスと独自の方法論で、リアルな"Heavy Rock"を追求し続ける。
Formed in 1992 and established as the current members of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo in 1996.
From the outset they have stood apart in both their stance and unique methodology, as they continue the pursuit of real “Heavy Rock.”
YBO2
1984年北村昌士により結成。変拍子を多用した複雑な構成の楽曲にヒステリックなヴォーカルが乗る独自の音楽性は当時異彩を放っていた。1990年の活動停止まで、北村自らが主宰するレーベル、トランスレコードから数多くの作品を発表。森川誠一郎、黒木真司が在籍するZ.O.Aもトランスレコードから作品をリリースしており、1986年に森川はギタリストとしてYBO2に加入している。初期メンバーとして、後にBorisのサポートギタリストも務めた栗原ミチオ（Ghost、White Heaven)が在籍、後任としてKK NULL(ZENI GEVA)、ドラムには吉田達也(Ruins)が在籍していた。
2000年に再結成の際は再び栗原ミチオと森川が参加、同時期にBorisとも共演しており、
当時から浅からぬ結びつきがあった。2006年、49歳の若さで北村は早世、
以後定期的に彼の追悼・トリビュートイベント「O.N.I」が行なわれている。
Formed in 1984 by Masashi Kitamura. He made use of irregular time signatures in complex arrangements in his compositions with hysteric vocals, on top of a distinctive musicianship that wildly stood out at the time. By 1990 the band was inactive, and Kitamura instead focused attention overseeing his label, Trans Records, which released a great number of recorded works. Trans Records also released works by Seiichirou Morikawa’s and Shinji Kuroki’s outfit, Z.O.A, and in 1986 Morikawa also joined YBO2 as guitarist. Later serving as a support member for Boris, Michio Kurihara (Ghost, White Heaven) was also a member of YBO2 in its early stage. After that K.K. Null (Zeni Geva) also served as a guitarist and Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins) also as drummer.
In the year 2000, YBO2 reformed once again with Michio Kurihara and Morikawa, and at that time Boris also appeared with the band, creating close ties from that time. In 2006 at the young age of 49, Masashi Kitamura left this world prematurely. After his passing a periodic tribute event titled “O.N.I” was held in memoriam.
